The owner of the German LIP group, Inholte, has made a 100 million dollar investment for a luxurious shopping centre in Bodrum.
Following the inflation of shopping centres developed in metropolitan cities within the nation, now foreign investors are focusing their sights on the nation’s popular tourist regions.
Germany’s LIP (Ludger Inholte Projekentwicklung) partnered by Bodrum businessmen in Atos Capital, is currently putting into fruition an investment for the development of an A class shopping centre located in Bodrum.
Bodrum was the favourite
The new investment Project, entitled the Halicarnas Gallery, will bring well-known brands such as Louis Vitton to Bodrum. The decision for the Bodrum investment, on behalf of the Germany Company that develops shopping centres, came about while Inholte was on vacation in the seaside town. The enclosed shopping centre will encompass a total 78,000 meter-square area and will be Bodrum’s first-ever luxurious shopping centre.
Bodrum already has one large shopping centre, Oasis, just outside of town which also operates as an entertainment complex with its multiplex cinema, bowling alley, bars and restaurants.
This new project, billed as an “international-standard deluxe shopping centre”, will increase the resorts profile whilst providing premium stores for some of the world’s top fashion retailers, further enhancing Bodrum’s status as the most luxurious and in demand holiday resort in Turkey.
