Gulluk / Güllük

Güllük, is a small harbor town with own municipality within the district of Milas, situated north of Bodrum in Muğla Province of Turkey.

It is a popular stopover for tourists sailing the Blue Cruise tour & also has an important port for freight ships. Güllük is also an important center of construction for gulet boats, coming second only to Bodrum. The town also has a freight port & acts as outlet especially for exports of several raw materials from mined in Milas district's inner regions.

Güllük – meaning “place of roses” in Turkish, is also the centre for sea bass & sea bream fishing farms in the gulf of Güllük. With its own harbour & delightful beaches, it is easy to realize why local Turkish people have long relished this charming little resort.
